Assignment 7: Final Project, DVD presentation (20%), Due Wednesday, December 11, 2013

Select four videos from the material you produced duing class. Discuss your selections with the instructor via Angel. Once the selections are discussed make the proper adjustments to each video and prepare it for DVD format.

You must also document your video installation and make a 1 to 2 minute documentation. Your documentation must provide a strong understanding of the installation. For this you should consider implementing wide shots as well as close-ups of your installation. For each segment you should give enough time for the viewer to evaluate everything that's in the frame.

You will create a DVD which contains a total of five videos: the four selected from previous work produced in class, and the documentation of the video art installation (project 6).

You will turn in the DVD for class critique on Wednesday, December 11. Evaluate your work and try to find a recurring aesthetic or theme. Your DVD should be designed to complement the overall aesthetic of your work. We will spend the entire class time on December 11 discussing the work. If you don't know how to produce a DVD, make sure to study the tutorials provided on the class webpage for the week of December 2.
