Assignment 6: Final Project, Presentation of Video Compilation (20%), Due Wednesday, December 9, 2015

Select four videos from the material you produced duing class. Discuss your selections with the instructor for any necessary adjustments to improve them, and approval. Once the selections are discussed make the proper adjustments to each video and compile them as a sequence with corresponding titles.

You must also document your video installation and make a 1 to 2 minute documentation. Your documentation must provide a strong understanding of the installation. For this to be effective, you should consider implementing wide shots as well as close-ups of your installation. For each segment you should give enough time for the viewer to evaluate everything that is in the frame. Your installation should also have proper titles as well as your other videos in order to be included as part of your compilation.

You will create a compilation which contains a total of five videos: Four selected from previous work produced in class, and the documentation of the video art installation (project 5).

You will present the videos for proper screening on Wednesday, December 9. Evaluate your work and try to find a recurring aesthetic or theme. Your compilation should be organized so that your style or overall creative interest becomes clear to the viewer. You don't have to organize the videos in the order in which they were produced throughout the class, but rather in the order that makes sense for them as a cohesive body of work.
